MULTIFAMILY HOUSING
-multifamily housing is more than one family living in a structures
-co-op ownership combins the advantage of home ownership with the convenince of apartment liveing
-owners have a voice in how the appartment is run
-condominium owners buy an appartment and shares a common ground
-owners of a condo can sell without the approval of other owners
-consits of either one or many buildings
-rental apartments are the most common rentals
-popular in low income families
-advantages-near shopping centers-little maintnance close to transportation
-disadvantages-no voice in how the building is managed-pay rent for a long time with no show for what u have done
AMRICANS WITH DISABILITYS ACT(ADA)
-ADA makes it illegal to discriminate against disabled persons in the area of employment
-make public places acomidate disabled people
- modifications include curb cuts, ramps, raised toilt seats and grab bars for restrooms, and parking places
