Philbrook Museum
Friday, the students of the Engineering Academy and the Architecture class took a trip to Tulsa. We visited the Philbrook Museum where many pieces of art are displayed. The collection of art at the museum includes Renaissance pieces, Native American, and African art.
In the museum we saw examples of Frank Lloyd Wrights work and many art deco paintings displayed throughout the museum. We go our own personal tour thought the museum, which went by fast. The Philbrook hasn't always been a museum though. It was donated by the Philbrook family to be used as a museum.
After the museum we looked at all the different types of architecture in the city.We got to see the Richard Lloyd Jones residence, but we could only drive by because there are people living there.
