This week i have been working on building a school cafeteria on the concept of think green eat lean. Which will include the kitchen, the lunchroom, and a room where you will get the food and pay for it. it will be rectangular shaped. One side of the building will have a curtain wall so it will give natural light into the cafeteria. It will be bigger then most cafeterias because i want the student to have enough room to enter the cafeteria without getting trampled with. It will also give them enough space to sit and eat peacefully with their friends. On the right side of the buldingbuilding it will have a second floor. I'm also thinking of making a green house outside close to the kitchen where there will be fresh vegetables everyday of the school year.

When one is thinking of building something with the concept of "think green eat lean" you have to save energy and recycle what you can. When i think of making a cafeteria with that concept i would put more windows and have a garden somewhere close to be able to get fresh vegetables everyday (until winter comes along). There would be more lines of salads then fast food in the cafeteria. Also i might put a sky light to be able to conserve energy.

Last fridayFriday our class went to the Philbrook Museum to see Frank Lloyd Wrights work and some of his ideas that he had. Before we went to see and talk about his work we went on a tour of the other art work that was in the Philbrook Museum. We went into several different rooms that contained art from many different artists, and from different parts of the country. What i loved about the tour was the house itself. The one thing that got my attention was the stair that was located in what is suppose to be the entrance to the house. Another thing i enjoyed was the details that the house have like the drawings on the ceiling and the painting on the walls.

We are now finishing our two story house in Revit. I am almost done with my house and with help of the program Revit I have animated the house to look like a real house. We have also started to work on a kitchen in Revit. Now that I'm more familiarized with this program I can work with this program faster then when I had first started.

We have been working with Revit this whole week. Revit is a software that is like AutoCAD just a bit different and a lot easier. We have been learning how to use it with a tutorial called Getting Started. By building a two story house we are learning the basic things on Revit and we are getting a look at what Revit can do compare to AutoCAD.

If John weighs twice as much as Frank, and Hubert three times as much, dividing their total weight by six gives us Franks weight (think x + 2x + 3x = 720). 720 divided by 6 tells us that Frank weighs, 120 pounds, so John weighs 240 pounds and Hubert 360.
