- BEDROOMS
- Need to be at least 100 sq. ft.
- 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom, 4 bedroom, etc.
- 1 bath, 2 bath
- Separate the masterbedroom from the other bedrooms for privacy and such
SIZE AND FURNITURE
- FHA stands of FEDERAL HOUSING ADMINISTRATION
- The FHA recommends a min. bedroom size of 100 sq. ft.
- An average sized bedroom contains between 125 and 175 sq. ft.
- 4 THINGS IMPORTANT TO CONSIDER WHEN PLANNING A BEDROOM
- Furniture size
- Draw insert symbols
- Move and rotate symbols
- Assign linetypes and colors
CLOSETS
- The FHA recommends a min. of 4 ft. of rod space in a closet for a man and 6 ft. of rod space for a woman.
- OTHER CONSIDERATION
- Every bedroom needs one
- Needs to be ADA accessiable
- Usually 24" deep
WINDOWS AND DOORS
- Every ideal room has windows on two walls
- Doors are usually 3 ft. wide and 6 ft. 8 in. or 8 ft. high
- Bedroom doors push in and every room has at least one
COLORS AND FINISHING
- Have to have a quiet and soothing feel
